Montreal, Canada: Aimtec Launches New Additions to its Telecom Lineup!
Aimtec is happy to introduce new low-profile open-frame DC/DC power supplies designed to complement our existing products for the telecom and industrial applications. This family of low-profile models now can power products from 3W to 100W(AM3GO-NZ, AM6GO-NZ, AM10SBO-NZ, AM30SBO-NZ, AM100EBO-NZ). The new Aimtec Telecom family is suitable for wired and wireless telecommunication equipment with high isolation voltage requirements and lower power consumption. This family also meets the DOSA standard pin definition which makes them easy to plug and play.
To ensure safety and performance, these products are designed to meet IEC/EN/UL62368-1 and have a no-load power consumption as low as 20mA for the AM100EBO-NZ, which makes them a good fit for battery-operated IoT applications. This also helps address some of the energy wastage and carbon emission concerns about the telecom industry.
The Aimtec telecom family of products accepts a wide input range of 36VDC to 75VDC and offer 5 to 28VDC output options with up to 95% typical efficiency. The family comes with different package options. The DOSA standardized open frame package features a low-profile and compatible footprint which is suitable for equipment with limited space. The AM100EBO-NZ requires only 2.3”x0.9” of board space, and the planer transformer helps to achieve a low height profile and can fit in end applications that have a narrow clearance of up to 0.38” tall.
Additionally, this series includes multiple functions and protections like input under-voltage protection, output over-voltage protection, short-circuit protection, over-current, and over-temperature protection. The remote On/Off control gives the designer the flexibility of cutting off power during sleep modes. The remote sense compensation provides accurate voltage to the system. Furthermore, with the in-built output voltage trim adjustment function, the designer can define their output voltage as required.
